also seems clear result of this function and other features : The RNS 315 is a standalone model with all-new hardware equipment. An update of the RNS 310 is therefore impossible - even though this is now probably there is a Software / Firmware Updates, which also provides speed alerts.
Whether the update the "old" RNS 310 from Volkswagen owners-partners (free of charge or at all) is made available seems more than questionable. At least the me in this regard known update philosophy of Volkswagen do not close it.
